Bathroom of the Future is at it again with another hard-hitting Nerd-Punk EP Everybody Else Here Is Having Fun. Starting with a chiptunes edit of one of the songs on the EP Capcom Girl followed by “Capcom Girl” and “Watching Bill and Ted Outside,” this 3 song EP encompasses all that the trio stands for in defining the genre of Nerd-Punk/Rock. About 4 months ago, I interviewed Tim David from the band that can be found here for a more in-depth view of the band. These 3 incredibly catchy earworms release on June 25, 2021, and I can’t recommend them enough!

“Capcom Girl” is a nostalgic take on late 80’s early 90’s arcade and video game love story with fast riffs and fast drums reminiscent of classic 90’s Punk Rock music this one will have you listening over and over. “Watching Bill and Ted Outside” is another nostalgic take on long-forgotten drive-in theaters much like old arcades from the previous song. This is a song that hits close to home with the first four lines, it just makes music that much sweeter when you can relate to it personally on many levels.

“Everybody else here is having fun but me
Everyone’s being so polite, but there’s anywhere I’d rather be
Like at home, alone
Where my stuff is, you know?”

I can’t wait to get my hands on this release and I highly suggest you check out their previous releases!
